In 2016, Donald Trump was the problem.

In 2020, he was the test.

In 2024, he’s no longer the anomaly. He’s the reflection.

America didn’t just flirt with fascism. It bought the whole damn wedding dress, walked down the aisle, and proudly live-streamed the vows. What used to be political theater has become cultural identity: performative cruelty, weaponized ignorance, and a national addiction to conspiracies, grift, and grievance.

You can’t blame Trump anymore. Not really. He didn’t change. He just kept doing what he always did — lie, cheat, bully, and brag. It was America that changed. It chose this. Again. And again. And again.

Let’s be brutally honest: if you saw Charlottesville, January 6, Lafayette Park, Helsinki, and still said, “Yeah, that’s my guy” — you are not the resistance. You are the rot.

💥 This Is Not a “Both Sides” Moment

One party is trying to pass healthcare expansions, improve infrastructure, and protect voting rights — however imperfectly.

The other party is banning books, criminalizing teachers, legalizing child labor, and promising to “terminate” the Constitution.

And yet, tens of millions look at both and say, “Eh, they’re the same.”
